You can watch Smithsonian Channel programming in a variety of ways:
ONLINE OR IN THE APP: Watch select free full episodes and clips online at smithsonianchannel.com or in the Smithsonian Channel app, which is free to download on your Apple, Amazon, Roku Players and TVs, or Android device. Current susbcribers through Apple TV Channels, Amazon Prime Video Channels and The Roku Channel can access content on their respective platforms until Smithsonian Channel is discontinued on those platforms on 1/31/21.
TV PROVIDER: Smithsonian Channel is offered through participating TV providers. To find out if you get Smithsonian Channel through your TV provider, visit https://www.smithsonianchannel.com/about/ways-to-watch.
If you already get Smithsonian Channel through your cable provider, you can stream hundreds of hours of programming online at smithsonianchannel.com. Select 'SIGN IN' in the top right corner, select your TV provider, and sign in with your provider credentials.
Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad users can stream programming within the Smithsonian Channel app through participating TV providers. Open the Smithsonian Channel app, select 'SIGN IN', then chose 'SELECT TV PROVIDER.' Once you've selected your provider, you may sign in with your provider credentials.
BUY SHOWS: Individual seasons and episodes of your favorite Smithsonian Channel shows may be available to purchase on iTunes, Vudu, Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, FandangoNOW, other online platforms and DVD. To find out if the show you’re interested in is available to purchase, visit any such online stores and search for the show title.
CBS ALL ACCESS: Your favorite shows from Smithsonian Channel Plus are now included in CBS All Access. If you're a CBS All Access subscriber, it's easy. You can stream Smithsonian Channel hit shows like Air Disasters, Aerial America, Secrets and more. Just go to the Smithsonian Channel page in the CBS All Access app or at cbs.com/brands/smithsonian-channel and start streaming.
